School Vision & Mission Statement

Vision:  PS 396 is dedicated to providing a culturally responsive and anti-racist education that results in equitable outcomes for all students.  We are committed to honoring and representing each other’s identities by creating authentic academic experiences and personal relationships in preparation for engaging powerfully with the real world.

Mission:  Using our culturally responsive, anti-racist approach to both students' social emotional and academic learning, students can realize their best selves through collaboration, individualization and innovation of the curriculum to provide access to rich and meaningful student experiences.
